We were seeking seat assignments on a previously approved Air Canada flight set for August 2026. The scammer number called, 1-800-818-0846, travel agent said we could upgrade our seats for free, but he needed a confirmation on our Visa card and after the seats were assigned, our money would be refunded within 24-48 hours. Despite numerous calls, we have not received a rebate of our money. The credit card company, the BBB, the FTC, and AARP have all be notified.
