I receive repeated calls for random numbers claiming to be Crestwood loan advisors stating "based on my information" I was pre-approved for a consumer loan up to a varied specified amount ranging from $30,000 to $75,000. The number they called from was 845-813-6432 and didn't come up as Spam on my phone. I spoke with 6 different people, and of those people, I was told I was speaking with Haven Lending and that Crestwood Loan Advisors were contracted for marketing for them (which is incorrect) -- when I asked them to explain, they hung up. Then I was told they were American Finance, and when I asked for their phone number they hung up. I called again and was told I was speaking with Palm Heaven Lending. I asked to be placed on the Do Not Call list, and they apologized and hung up. I called again, and asked for them to confirm their phone number then they hung up. The last time I called and again asked to confirm their phone number. I was told by "Mary" that I could call the number I'd called today to reach them. We went back and forth with my pressuring for a phone number and Mary not providing it. She ended up belittling me before disconnecting. That call lasted 2.5minutes. My husband called the number and was able to obtain the phone number 949-804-7133 for Palm Heaven Lending and also told they had a website with the same name. I could only locate Palm Haven Lending's website, but the phone numbers do not match. I highly doubt I was put on the Do Not Call list.
