**Multi-Entity Debt Collection and Loan Scam Campaign**
Our analysis has identified a coordinated scam campaign involving multiple phone numbers and company names targeting consumers with fraudulent debt collection and loan offers. The campaign operates through three primary phone numbers: 845-813-6432, 949-804-7133, and 866-628-4731. Phone number 866-628-4731 has generated 15 FTC complaints with reports concentrated in Naples, Florida, Itasca, Illinois, and Park Ridge, Illinois, while the other two numbers have not yet accumulated formal FTC complaints despite documented consumer reports.
The scammers use at least four company identities across different industries to legitimize their operations: American Finance LLC (vehicle loans), Locate Services LLC (debt collection), Medical Services Inc (debt collection), and Credit Corp Solutions Inc (debt collection). American Finance LLC shows the highest complaint volume with 46 CFPB complaints, while Credit Corp Solutions Inc has accumulated 2,735 CFPB complaints. The interconnected nature of these entities is evident through 14 documented relationships, with phone numbers 845-813-6432 and 949-804-7133 showing particularly strong connections with a same_campaign confidence level of 0.70.
Consumer reports reveal the campaign's deceptive tactics, with victims receiving repeated calls from individuals claiming to represent "Crestwood loan advisors" who state consumers are pre-approved for loans based on their information. When consumers engage, the callers identify themselves as representatives of American Finance. Multiple community reports document persistent calling behavior, with scammers continuing to contact consumers even after explicit requests to be removed from calling lists.
To protect yourself from this campaign, verify any loan or debt collection company by independently researching their official contact information and checking their licensing status with relevant state authorities. Never provide personal or financial information to unsolicited callers. If contacted by any of these numbers or companies, hang up immediately and do not click any links in related emails or text messages. Report suspicious calls to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov or file a complaint with the FCC. Before engaging with any financial services company, check if their phone numbers or websites are flagged by searching consumer protection databases and community reporting platforms.
This campaign represents a moderate threat level with documented consumer targeting across multiple states, particularly in Florida and Illinois. The use of multiple phone numbers and company identities indicates a sophisticated operation designed to evade detection. Consumers should remain vigilant for calls from the identified numbers and company names. Regulatory agencies should investigate the relationships between these entities, particularly the high-confidence connections between the primary phone numbers and American Finance LLC's role across multiple complaint categories.
