In January of 2026 I discovered that I was being charged $20 on my credit card by a company propertyrecovery.com ph# 1-855-294-1102). I did not recognize the #. I called the number listed and a lady replied. The first thing she said "do you want to cancel? " . I said who are you ? what service do you provide for me ? She explained that I was checking the title of my property on line and they found me. This started from September of 2024 when I checked on the internet the title of my property using a website "llinois property records or a similar website" . I remember the website was free and did not ask me for payment. Propertrecovery.com have been charging my credit card $20 per month sice 9/24 for 17 months. I am a retired woman at the age of 78.
