I received a voice message stating "This is Sobriah calling from the process servers office regarding the court summons for file case number xxxxx26CR. This is a legal notification from the county processor server's office. We are calling to inform you that an attempt was made to serve you with legal documents requesting your appearance in court. However, the documents were returned from the address we have on file. To avoid failure to appear in court, we recommend you contact the attorney in charge of your case, Janet Wilson, at 877-907-0305. Her office will be able to provide additional details regarding your case". I have no pending court cases or legal actions, and no process server attempted to serve me. This is a scam to scare, threaten, and harass by using false information and claiming to be a government or legal entity(ties). The phone number cannot be traced back to a person or company. I filed a complaint with the FTC before filing this complaint. It appears there are other BBB complaints for very similar calls to other consumers that direct them to contact attorney Janet Wilson at 877-907-0305. Person called stating was a process server and that court had attempted to deliver documents to my address, wanted to know if I was summoned for jury duty and did not show up. Said my case # was ##### and that the attorney's name was Janet Wilson at phone number 877-907-0305. She would put my case on hold for 1 hour while I contacted Ms Wilson who would explain everything. I received a call for my ex-husband and it said that they were from Mendocino County process server gave her name, a civil case number, and told him to contact the attorney handling his case Janet Wilson with a phone number of 877-907-0305 saying documents were attempted to be delivered to the address on file but was unsuccessful and that they needed to speak to him. The phone number is unreachable and there's no other way to get in touch with phone number that showed up on caller ID and it's not even for me so all I could do was block the number. I received several text messages that were obviously a scam so I ignored them at first. They were from a 4 digit # so I had my doubts at first.
