I received a letter via USPS in an envelope listing Official Business but no return address. Envelope stated Penalty for Private Use $300. It also had a a warning that $2000 fine or 5 years Imprisonment for anyone who interferes with delivery of the letter violating - 18 United States Code 1702 st seq. The letter has a QR code to scan. Asking for VIN. Customer ID: 007PE20970. The letter is informing me that my factory warranty has expired, you will be Financially Liable for all repairs. The letter states to Please call IMMEDIATELY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU: 1-888-369-5569. PLEASE RESPOND BY: 01/22/2026. Operating Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am to 7:00pm CST, Saturday 9:00am to 3:00pm CST. At the bottom of the letter it states Prime Auto is an independent nationwide company marketing vehicle service contracts on behalf of third-party administrators. It also states it is TIME SENSITIVE. I have no idea what vehicle this entails. Please see the image I have attached.
