My fiance was in a fender bender on January 12, 2026 at aprox 12:30pm. So he googled Geico and he clicked on the number in the first link that came up.(1-888-718-1062) They answered thank you for calling Geico, he was told he had to pay a 29.99 fee to file the claim. He didn't think anything of it as it was his first time ever having to file. So he gave his card information. While on the phone they took $660.00 then $118.94 successfully, then tried 2 more transactions that declined due to insufficient funds. The crazy part is they logged in to his geico account with his help and filed his claim. Chime shows all 4 debits came from Geico but they will not investigate and denied our dispute.
