I received this text yesterday stating I needed to call Apple but the number did not match so I did not call. This is a SCAM!! A new device was added to your account so take a moment to review and confirm it’s expected. Following a recent security scan, your Apple ID (Case ID: ***********) was flagged for Apple Pay activity that did not align with your normal account patterns. A $421.63 payment attempt originating in Orlando, FL, was immediately stopped after it failed verification protocols related to device identity and user behavior. As part of our precautionary measures, the transaction remains on hold, and Apple Pay access will stay suspended until the activity is confirmed as legitimate. If this purchase was authorized, no action is necessary and the transaction will process as scheduled. If not, please contact Apple Support immediately to review and secure your account.
