I was contacted via text re. alleged interest in a vehicle I had listed for sale. Contact requested I purchase a VIN report from a specific website (other than CARFAX) that required me to pay via credit card. The payment date correlated to numerous bogus charges showing up on my account -- these were disputed with my bank and the card cancelled. Subsequent to my providing this VIN report to the contact, I never heard from them again. Also associated with email " [email protected] " and phone #334-609-4101.
