A Business name was not given - They called my cell phone twice, called my by name. They did not leave a business name or e-mail address. First call they left a message & 2nd time, but did not interact - it appeared to be a recorded message, that was trying to sound like a live person. The message was pretty much verbatim to the what the the original person reporting this scam noted. The Caller's name was Vanessa Rojas from the Verification Department (No Business name given). She is the credit analyst working on my approval. She said I had applied for a personal line of credit for a consolidation loan, and while it didn't move forward at the time, a few things have changed this year with with rates and underwriting. Most likely she could get me approved for about $49,000. Underwriting Notes say they are just pending income verification. if interested press one or call 855-909-0822 & she will be happy to go over terms. She called from 478-367-9470 but left 855-909-0822 as a contact number. - I did not call back or respond as I did NOT apply for any loan. ** PS, I am an Underwriter and Credit Analyst for a Major Lender & I can see where someone might fall for this. - Please note: Credit Analysts / Underwriters will NOT call the client directly. We need a degree of separation to make an impartial decision. I just wanted put the warning out there - especially since someone else had actually become a victim and the verbiage used was very similar. - Be careful & be safe...
