I ordered several items from this company's website on October 9, 2025. The company is supposedly located in France but the items were shipped from China. I paid an additional $5.19 to have my delivery insured by a company called Seel. I was told that if I did not receive the items within 60 days that I could file a claim with Seel and they would refund my money. On December 9, 2025, I filed a claim that the item was never received. The tracking information provided confirms that the item was shipped but never delivered. Seel approved my claim and asked me how I would like to receive my refund and I told them Venmo would be fine. They responded later that day and said the funds would be in my account within an hour. It is now December 29, 2025 and I have not received a refund. Their customer service (which sounds like AI or a bot) has sent me the exact same verbiage via e-mail stating, "Your $273.90 refund for the lost shipment on order #*********** (claim 2512090846067754370) is fully approved and still owed to you. The only issue is the Venmo payout itself not completing to your account (@Chris-Nicchi / 585-363-2358), not your eligibility for the refund. I’ve just flagged this again internally as a failed Venmo payout for our payouts team to investigate and either trace or re-send the payment. This does not affect your right to the money—you will not lose your refund because of this processing problem." Retroid has directed me to Seel to resolve the issue since I paid for delivery protection and my bank will not reverse the charge. After weeks of receiving this same response, I have exhausted my efforts and hope you can better assist me in retrieving my money.
