I received a call from +1 (801) 821-2219 at 21:47 Kinshasa time (13:47 Utah) on my U.S.-based number. I am currently traveling in Africa, but with Wi-Fi Calling enabled, I receive calls exactly as if I were in the United States. The caller identified herself as ‘Patricia’ and spoke with an African accent. I heard multiple voices and loud background noise, similar to a call-center environment. She mispronounced my name and could not clearly explain the purpose of the call. The caller did not identify any company, agency, or legitimate reason for contacting me. I have no relationship with anyone in Utah who would be calling me. The unclear purpose, call-center noise, mispronounced name, and static match known scam-call patterns and possible number spoofing. I ended the call immediately without providing any personal information and limited my speech to avoid any possibility of voice recording or misuse.
