I saw two charges pending on my credit card account that I did not recognize, from ClearView Photography in Pasadena CA. I then went scanning through my email and found a spam email of an order for one of the charges from myebooknook.com which referenced the same dollar amount as one of the transactions. This confirmed to me that this was not a valid charge as I did not order anything from that site. The email states: Order Confirmation Hi XXXXXXXXXX, Welcome! Welcome to the your very own E Book! Noticed an unidentified pending charge on my card. Same day got and email from myebooknook.com with an order confirmation for exactly the same amount. Called their number (866) 736-2325. Got a run around where they said I ordered a free trial which had expired and not the service is renewing. I told them I never ordered anything and that I wanted the charge removed. They refused saying it was non-refundable although they would cancel the subscription. I called my credit card company and put a fraud alert on the charges and found out this was the 3rd charge from the same source.
