6/6/25 - I received a phone call about my Marriott timeshare. Originally I was told by James of the opportunity to rent out my unused Interval weeks from my timeshare for $1875-$2500 depending on the length of time it took to find people to utilize these weeks. • I was “guaranteed” Corporations need additional rooms for large corporate meetings and that I would be receiving these weekly payouts for giving up my timeshare weeks. • I was told I needed to pay up front $399 for each of these weeks with a bonus of 2 weeks ON TOP of the weeks I had available I received another phone number for Kevin (James’ boss) as additional reassurance of the legitimacy of this program. 6/9/25 – After doing some research over the weekend and feeling some skepticism I attempted to call both numbers given to me for James and Kevin and NEITHER phone number was valid. These numbers were no longer in service. This was within a couple days. • I also Googled the name I was given and soon learned there were MANY names for this company. o Resorts and Referrals Interval o ETA Luxury o Corner Group Marketing Again this reinforced my belief this was a scam and not legitimate. I have called the phone numbers listed in the previous attachment MANY times and left numerous messages with no call back to 866-770-2894 (at least 20 times). At times I have been able to get someone on the phone but it is always someone different and they lead me down a path of possibility with no additional follow up. I truly don’t believe this is legitimate and want my money returned. I have talked to many people that seemed like they could be helpful but then it was a dead end with no response. The charges went on my American Express Marriott Bonvoy card. I feel they are in cahoots with this company because I immediately filed a dispute on Monday, 6/9/25 and they refuse to protect me as the consumer.
