I received a phone call from Jae Newton with Senior Awards. he gave me a claim number CA%701201, badge number JN5885. He has an accent. He says I've won $5.2 million and a Mercedez Benz. He asked if I was married or single, and whether I lived alone, in a home or an apartment. He told me to verify my winnings with the Federal Reserve at 888-331-3502. I called and spoke to a man who said he needed me to pay $7,500 in taxes to the IRS before they could release the winnings. He asked for my social security number, and my CashApp account. He then asked for my bank account number so he could deposit the money. When I said it was a scam, he became irate, and started cussing.
