I received a phishing letter telling me my home warranty may be expiring/already expired and to avoid delay in my coverage I need to contact Home Protection Direct immediately at 1-888-909-0272. Lots of emboldened writing, FINAL NOTICE etc. The letter appears like a check when received with perforated sides, instructing the receiver to open the sides first; similar to an IRS refund, including a bald eagle stamp on the front. They are trying to insure people open this letter. I'm reporting this in the hopes it helps another person not to be scammed.
