I received a letter without a phone number or way to contact thiscopany saying that Conduent Business Services, LLC is a 3-party mailing service which had a scammer in their system from October 21, 2024 - January, 13, 2025. It says my name and SSN were leaked, but no evidence of use at this time. Then it says I should go to privacysolutionsid.com for complimentary monitoring services. Two page letter rec'd in the mail from a company called Conduent Business Services, LLC saying they were a third party providing printing/mailroom services, document processing services, and other back-office support. They said some of my personal information was accessed. That an unauthroized third party had access to their environment from October 21, 2024 to January 13, 2025 and obtained some files associated with my current or former health plan. ' The letter wanted me to go to privacysolutionsid.com, activate an account and complete enrollment information. The site asked me to enter my full SSN and DOB. Got an email from CONDUENT (PO 3826, Suwanee GA), that my identity was stolen. They provided a website - privacysolutionsid.com and an activation code. The website asked for activation code, my address and SSN (full). But every time, I got an error saying code may be incorrect. Is this a scam to harvest my name, address, SSN or is this legitimate? Received a data breach letter, which was identical to Conduent Data Breach letters available online, except for one additional section. The additional section prompted me to enroll in "complementary identity monitoring services", supposedly provided by Epiq. It said to go to privacysolutionsid.com and enter my information, including my social security number. There was a different phone number listed in this section. A scan of the letter is attached. I received a letter claiming to be from Conduent stating that my name, social security number, and DOB had been stolen in a data breach. I was told I would receive a year of free ID theft protection fro a company called Epiq at privacysolutionsid.com. I did a quick check online and it seems that Conduent is a legitimate company that did experience a data breach. However, the privacysolutionsid site felt suspicious. Even though the letter gave me a personalized activation code, I was still prompted to provide my name, address, DOB, and social security number. I did more searching online and found other people who submitted all this sensitive information and never heard back from the company. Someone else claimed they had received 3 similar letters, apparently from different companies, that all had the same return address: PO Box 3826, Suwanee, GA. I saw the same return address on my letter, and am now suspicious. Apparently Conduent and Epiq are legitimate companies, there was a data breach, and they are offering free identity theft protection.
