Conduent Incorporated

I was contacted with a letter from Conduent claiming to be a business mailroom provider with a data breach that was reaching out to offer identity theft protection. The provided website had an enrollment form requiring data entry. No other consequences so far. my spouse and I received letters via USPS stating that BSBC of Illinois was hacked and provided the web site to enter "activation codes" and "verification ID" to enable "free credit monitoring, Fraud consultation and Identity Restoration services" [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: CONDUENT] [Location: WI, USA - 54302]

I am not certain that this is a scam. But they are offering security monitoring on the basis of a data breach at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Illinois. They request my personal information (including SSN) in order to make an account. That makes sense in a way, but I haven't heard of this business before, so I'm not sure they're legit. They said that my personal information was hacked and i could get identity monitoring for a year [BBB Scam Type: Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare] [Business: Conduent] [Location: TX, USA- 79763]

I received mail saying my personal information was compromised thru my BCBS health insurance and because of the incident, all clients were being offered 12 months of free fraud protection. An activation & verification code were provided in order to register for this protection. Only after entering my personal info did i realize i should have checked the BBB website first... The letter claims that there was a cyber incident on January 13, 2025 and some files associated with my current or former health plans had been accessed. I received a letter from "Conduent Secure Processing Center" in Suwanee, Ga. Letter claims that someone hacked my personal information from my previous Obamacare plan. "Conduent" is offering one year of identity monitoring. To get it, letter directed me to a website for "Epiq Privacy Solutions" -- which, of course, wants ALL of my personal information.
