same as the following account: "I applied for a part-time job as a lobby attendant through the JobToday application. I submitted my application through pro Elevations Corp (from the app). On 11/12/25, I received a phone call from 516-201-9005. The person named Jay told me to meet with Mr. Jackson at 325 West 38th Street, #1505, NY 10018. He never mentioned NextHireService company. Also, he told me to bring $150 cash for a deposit if I got hired. On 11/13/25, I went to that location and met with Jackson. Before I spoke with him, a lady gave me a form that said I understand their firm does not require any payment for placement jobs. I also provided my green card number and my driver’s license number on that form. After I filled out that form, I spoke with Jackson. He mentioned the security and fire training, which requires a certain payment: Level 1 training costs $800, Level 2 costs $600, and Level 3 costs $400. He told me to pick Level 1 training, but I chose Level 3, which is $400. He looked very upset and asked for $150 right away without telling me where the training location is. I handed him $150 in cash, and he asked for my driver’s license ID. He also took a picture with his cellphone. I felt uneasy with this company; he hurriedly asked me when I could pay the remaining $250. I promised him I could return on Saturday, 11/15/2025 (but I never went back). Again, I asked when the training would start, and he never gave me a straight answer; he always said that until I finished paying the rest, he wouldn’t tell me. After reviewing the agreement, I noticed several red flags and realized that the company is not an employment agency but only acts as a consultant. I also discovered that, according to Google Maps, their address is on the West Side, yet Google Maps shows it on the East Side of Manhattan. Because I didn’t pay the rest of the money, they called me from 347-796-9050." [BBB Scam Type: Employment] [Business: nexthireservices] [Location: NY, USA- 11
