It started with a text message from Wells Fargo 15626461112 thank you for confirming suspicious activity a representative will reach out to you shortly. That was at 12:25pm Tuesday December16,2025. They texted twice before the actual call. While I was on the call with him, I looked into my account and some united of Omaha had tried to take 225.00 out of my account which put me into overdraft. The guy asked did i have a zelle account i said yes but i do not use it. He asked me to put down 400.00 and send it to someone but it did not go through He then asked if i had cash app I said yes, he had me to do the 400 again and it did not go through. He told me I need to go to the bank the bank was closing so i told him i will go to the atm. My husband had no idea what was happening the guy stayed on the phone and waited patiently for me to get to the atm. When i got there he asked me to take 400.00 out and take it to cvs or walgreens they have people there that work with Wells Fargo. I must have been out of my mind then it hit me I told him I was not going any further and hung up. Now we have gotten an insurance packet from that United of Omaha for my husband and he has not signed up for any more insurance they had our routing number and my account number even though my husband and i have joint accounts. So we called them and they asked us did we know a person named Ethan ******* we told them no and told them to cancel that policy! How they got that information i believe whoever the person that was pretending to be from Wells Fargo is the same man that took out a policy on my husband.
