My aunt contacted this lady through a facebook page. She was supposedly a breeder of ragdoll cats located in Miami Florida. She said her name was Leslie Netty. She asked my aunt to send a prepaid card for $500 and sent pictures of two cats so she could pick one. My aunt, an old lady, sent the non-traceable money and the lady said she would send the cat through Rapid Logistics 704-222-0023. After a few days a person supposedly from the shipping company said the shipping cost from Miami to Puerto Rico was $1800, an exaggerated amount! My aunt didn’t have that amount of money so she sent $1,100 in advance. A week later the freight guy called again saying that they have had the cat for a week and she needed to send $1400 more since the daily cost of caring for the cat was $200 per day. She sent $600 more, but every time she sends money, all through prepaid cards, they would ask for more. It’s a never ending story. My aunt is fixed with receiving the cat and does not want to accept it’s a scam. A couple of days ago they told her to sent bitcoins through Moonpay.com.
