I purchased a a ticket for my son to come home for the Christmas holiday. The website I used popped up multiple ticket agents to compare prices, along with a phone number to call if you wish for a much cheaper price so I called the number 855-704-4480 and a young lady from India answered. She offered me a cheap fare from New York to Seattle for $410.00 I thought that was a great deal for traveling during the holiday. This transaction took place October 17, 2025. My son did not receive his e-tickets so I called the phone number and it went to a recording that the phone is having problems at this time. I then called the airline directly and provided the confirmation number. My son’s name was listed on the airline reservation along with the correct itinerary information. I was then informed that the reservation was cancelled for non payment. Then my credit card was compromised for fraud a week later. We closed the credit card and received a new credit card. I strongly believe that this scammer was the one that compromised my credit card for fraud as well. Check your statements for unusual purchases. I paid for plane tickets on a third party website. Tickets were not paid for until a customer service representative called. I had also received an email from cheapflightservices about my tickets, detailing how they were not yet purchased and the customer service rep would take payment. I didnt think it was too fishy, so when i got the call, the rep detailed the cost of the tickets, which was different from the website but i figured it was just service fees. He told me that the payment would show as being billed by airreservation, which was also detailed in the email. He then explained that i should expect my tickets by the end of december. That time came and passed, so i called them on january 2nd. They explained how they had confirmation of my payment and tickets should arrive by today. At this point, im a couple days away from my flight, but fearing i wont have tickets for it, so i called the airline this morning, and they had no record of my tickets.
