A woman called using a local number than cannot be called back. She said her name is Kimberly Ross with GSM Resolutions and was dispatching documentation of a complaint out of Jefferson Parish saying that I failed to respond to certified documents that went to my house. (None of that is true because I verified with the Parish I live in). She said to call back at 877-927-0513. I ignored the message. Then this person found my work phone number and called me there. She claimed that I had an unpaid credit card from Capital One in 2016 and that I owe $4493.16. (this is not true. I did not have a card then and did not default on a credit card). I said that wasn't true. she put me on hold and then a different person who didn't give her name came on and asked if my SSN was ***, I did not give it to them, but they had it. She demanded that I pay that money or be sued and that I would need an attorney. she used scare tactics. I looked up the business name on google and see that it has a negative trust rating and others calming fraudulent. I googled the phone number she gave and can't connect it to anything online. whatever number she called from to my work did not show up on our caller ID. I contacted Capital One to ask if there was a defaulted credit card in my history, they confirmed that there was not. Beside that, they would not have given me a car loan or credit card a couple years after supposed default that did not happen. I filed a police report with my city police department.
