My mother received a letter from a company claiming to be a warranty company wanting her to call them immediately as her home warranty may have expired. No return address, no email no website was provided in this letter. Just a phone number 888-678-5131 as a way to contact them. My husband received an official looking piece of mail that appeared to come from our bank. The letter does not include any other business name or address, just a toll-free number. The letter implied it was urgent to call them before something expires and coverage lapses. This has nothing to do with our bank and is completely misleading. I'm reporting this so others are not scammed into buying something they don't need or losing money to a fake business.
