That single category outpaces every other reported type by a wide margin and is anchored by one number in particular: 707-607-0819, which alone drew 157 complaints, more than any other number in the dataset and nearly 40 percent of the debt-reduction total on its own. Two additional numbers, 707-671-6440 and 707-368-8887, add another 17 complaints in the same category.

Impersonation calls — pitched as government agencies, businesses, or family members — generated 206 complaints and produced the second-highest individual-number count in the code. 707-926-8542 logged 80 complaints in that category, and 707-381-3349 added 16 more. Together those two numbers represent nearly half the impersonation volume on their own, a concentration that points to coordinated or repeat-dialing behavior rather than scattered one-off calls.

Dropped calls and no-message contacts account for 171 complaints, a volume that likely reflects robocall campaigns probing for live recipients. FCC records confirm that 78 percent of the code's recorded contacts were prerecorded messages, consistent with automated dialing at scale. Medical and prescription solicitations added 49 complaints, with 707-687-3054 responsible for 8 of those, while energy, solar, and utilities pitches contributed 29 more.

Geographically, complaints cluster along a Northern California corridor running through Santa Rosa, Vallejo, Sacramento, and San Francisco, though calls also reached receivers in Florida and Texas, suggesting the 707 prefix is being used as a local-appearing spoofed origin rather than a purely regional operation. At rank 143 out of 358 area codes overall, volume is moderate nationally, but among California codes specifically it sits at 18th out of 47, a positioning that places it solidly in the active tier for the state. The combination of a high-volume debt-pitch leader, a strong impersonation cluster, and confirmed prerecorded delivery across five months of continuous activity indicates an operation with enough infrastructure to sustain pressure well beyond a short campaign window.
