On 03/12/26 I made an online purchase with the so called store "Ava & Grace NYC" at www.avagracenyc.com, total purchase $291.76. The items looked very beautiful in the online pictures, for example there was a nice sweater for which you could clearly see the yarn's detail. Also the shoes I ordered were described as being made of "leather". Their website also clearly stated that there is a 30day return policy for any product purchased if it needs to be returned for any reason. I made the purchase (6 items) on March 12, and it took over two weeks to receive the last item (March 28). every single one of the items received was a very cheap, poor quality item probably shipped from China (that is why it took so long to deliver). The shoes are clearly not made of leather, they have a strong synthetic odor and the material is synthetic, very rough. The beautiful knitted sweater I thought I was ordering was in reality a cheaply made shirt made of 100% very thin polyester fabric. As soon as I received the items I decided to return them with a proper note about their misleading information on the website....I clicked on the "Visit our store" link from the order confirmation email hoping to get to their return instructions just to discover that the online store vanished - I got a message saying that "This store is unavailable". I sent an email to their business email [email protected] and requested return instructions, but I did not hear back from them. Another strange thing is that all the item pictures from the purchase/shipping confirmation emails simply disappeared, and only the descriptions are now visible.
