April 25 I cancelled in the app. Same day, I got a confirmation email saying my subscription was cancelled and I'd keep access until a specific date with no further charges. Three days later, April 28, they charged me $29.99 anyway. Apple Pay. The charge shows up as SG*V*breeze-app.com, categorized as "Schools and educational services" of all things, even though it's supposedly a mental health app. So I've got a written cancellation confirmation and a charge dated three days after it. From the same company. To the same email. This isn't a one off. Their Trustpilot is at 2.2 stars with 575+ reviews and most of them describe the exact same thing. Their Terms of Use also bury a mandatory arbitration clause and class action waiver, which is the kind of thing companies put in when they already know they're going to get sued. A few things I figured out the hard way that might save someone time: The cancel button in the app doesn't actually cancel billing apparently, even when it sends you a confirmation email. There's no phone number anywhere. Their support is a third-party email address.
