So I’m very new to this subreddit and I’m usually someone who is able to deduce wether a message is a scam or not but for some reason this time I’m incredibly confused and unsure if it is a scam or not so I would really appreciate some help :’) Some things that confuse me are 1. I’ve never received a message from DPD before so I’m unsure if this message looks even close to a legit DPD message or if it’s just a complete utter mess 2. I’m afraid to search up the link they sent as while it seems fine to me (with it including DPD within the link), I don’t want to search it up just incase it does turn out to be a scam 3. I feel like the ‘reply with Y’ texts always end up being scams but then I’m unsure if scammers use that because other companies do? I’m not sure if this is a regular thing with contacting customers or just something scammers use 4. I haven’t ordered anything that would’ve been here that quickly - I’ve ordered quite a lot recently but the first thing I ordered was on May 1st and another tracking app I have (shop) hasn’t updated the parcel’s movement yet 5. Lastly the contact name and ‘encrypted’ being underneath it - once again, I don’t know if this is something that means it’s a legit text or if it’s a bigger chance of a scammer So if anyone can please help me out i’d really really appreciate it, thank you so much!
