Scam Type: Employment Scam / Fake Recruiter Business Name Used: “Ranstand” (misspelled version of Randstad) Phone Number: (208) 702-3267 Description: I received an unsolicited text message from this number claiming to be “Amanda from Ranstand.” They asked if I was available and then offered a “flexible job role,” even though I have not applied for any job. When questioned, the sender used vague scripted responses about getting my number from a “job portal,” without identifying any company or actual position. The message format and behavior match known employment scam patterns.
