FTC REPORT NUMBER 194606491 An "Off Site Phone Support Agent" job by the company "Rules Cube" was listed on Indeed.com for $29.50/hour and is a SCAM. I sent an application, and received a G-mail message from [email protected] , requesting that I download the Signal app, and reach out to "Mrs Melissa" at the username Peoplefirmllc.60 or the phone number 405-648-2401. I reached out to Peoplefirmllc.60. After a very, very brief exchange, "Mrs Melissa Kovi" said that I was hired (for a position around $60k, with no interview) and she would send a cashier's check (which was fake) for several thousand dollars to cover startup costs. I have run into this scam before with fake job listings. They attempted to take my phone information and identity. Through an app called signal messenger. They requested in the email that I download this app on my phone and allow all permissions, including contacts, to set up an interview with Melissa. 405-648-2401 which was non existent. There was no contact information including a return email to confirm or ask any questions. According to Google, this company is legit.However , it has very little reviews on glass door and claims to have an article about it in forbes. If\nIt is legit.\nScammers are using this company's name to try and get personal information. I'm trying to alert people through glass door that this is a scam.However , for some reason , glass door is not allowing me to complete a review. If people are not able to look this up and see that it is a scam people will be harmed.
