Phishing - Phishing - Process Service Impostor Scam I received a voicemail stating someone was trying to serve me with legal paperwork and that I needed to be home to sign for it, and if I wasn’t they would come to my place of employment. I was given a phone number and a reference number. I called (866) 235-6939 a man answered the phone Ellis Wells and Associates. The number they called from 445-212-1093 is not the same number given in the voicemail. I stated that I just received a voicemail that someone was trying to serve me with some paperwork. They mentioned I was being sued for a credit card debt; however, I never had this card or banked with the company mentioned. They threatened to come to my place of employment. I immediately hung up.
