Hi, my name is ***** ********* I'm an author living in the U.S., and I was cold contacted via email by a person claiming the name Jennifer Conner and claiming to work for a company called Noble Publishing Experts. I had a call with her and a second call with her and a colleague that went by the name of John Collins to talk about their services. Based on answers to several questions, I thought perhaps it could be a fraud. I used Claude to search for their names and the name of the alleged company CEO, Mark Smith. There is no connection between those names and the name of the company. The company is not mentioned anywhere on the internet other than the website and a mostly empty linkedin profile. Also, I asked for names of other senior people that worked there, and they sent me a doc (too big to attach, but I attached another) that lists the names of actual Cambridge PhD candidates or recipients; but from what I can tell these folks have no connection to Nobel Publishing Experts. I suspect Noble is using real names and pretending these people work at the company. There are others listed, but I did not look into all of them. I'd appreciate it if you could look into this.
