I initially applied to Door Driven Sales because I had been fired from a previous job. Upon submitting application, I was accepted to the job and was to attend training for following weeks before shadowing another rep from the team. The company's resources and job is entirely online which was my first red flag, but I assumed it made sense. All of the work is relatively remote with flexible scheduling so the pros outweighed the cons. When I joined the meeting on Zoom, the instructor was in the middle of a sentence like they had been in a meeting prior to when I joined. The people included in the training outside of the instructor and CEO had names that closely resembled famous people. After declining the job offer, I was harassed by one of the manager's, "Johnny" and the COO, "Megan." Johnny called me to ask me why I wasn't interested. I thoroughly explained but when I misspoke and said "the job offer seems a little shady," Johnny took incredible offense. He pleaded his argument multiple times even though I respectfully told him I was not interested. He pressed the question multiple times, degrading me for the money I make or lack thereof. He explained that if I wasn't interested, he understands, but that he wanted to ensure I understand that the business is not shady. After 10 minutes of him verbally attacking me, the COO calls me to follow up and ask what's going on. I relayed relatively the same information before hanging up out of frustration. They continued to harass me through iMessage and the last message they sent me was a GIF image from the phone number +1(678) 779-4917 referencing the "Super Weenie Hut Jr" from Spongebob.
