I received a email and text “ Hello, This is Rosie Lawrence from the HR Department of BeaconCrate Freight. I'm calling about your job interview for the remote Logistics Checker position. We need to know if you are interested or not so we can conduct an interview or take you off the list. Please check your email for further information about the job or you can send me an SMS or please call me back at (859) 681-8664 Thank you and have a great day!” I responded back saying I was interested and she called me. She said I would make $4,400 salary and bonus money also. She asked me a series of questions. Could I receive packages at home, would I be home to sign for them etc. Then she said I wouldn’t be paid for an entire month, which seemed odd. Then she want me an email stating all the things I’d need to do in order to start the job. She said I’d need to copy and paste the link to go fill out all the info and offered to stay on the phone while I did it and put herself on mute. That’s when it really clicked it was a scam.
