Scam Type: Employment Scam / Fake Recruiter Phone Number: (206) 379-2809 Carrier: Verizon (VoIP SMS routing) Description: On November 27 at 12:28 PM, I received an unsolicited text message from this number claiming to be “Mary from Synergy Staff.” The message said they had a role that would be “perfect” for me and asked if I wanted the details. I have never applied to any job with a company called Synergy Staff. The message matches known employment-recruitment scams where scammers impersonate staffing agencies to obtain personal information or financial details. I did not respond and I blocked the number. A real recruiter will always identify exactly which job application your information came from and will provide their full name, company, and contact details.
