Is this a scam? An investigator calling about stolen car I got a call just now (voice mail) saying he is an investigator from dallas texas and that I rented a car which is not returned as of yet- and that there is reported as a auto theft and there is a warrant out for me. I didn't call back yet. I googled the number (214-736-9572) and the number is registered with Tim Ron Enterprises, Llc - Tx. This company seems to be involved with various telemarketing scams… Also a few people complained online with the exact same scenario. Is this a scam if so how does it work?
