Need help. Recruiter offering PLA from US universities. Is this a scam or not? I need help in verifying if this is a scam or not. I am an IT professional and I live in a Middle Eastern country. I received a call from a company called [Recruitment Experts!](http://www.recruitment-experts.com/) based in California, USA and they conducted a small interview over the phone. The person then says there is an opportunity in Saudi Arabia with twice my current salary and many other amenities. He then sends an email with the job description asks me to reply with copies of my degree and all my certificates which I do. Now it gets interesting and confusing as well. He calls me the next day and tells me I am perfect for the job after speaking to his client. But there is one problem. I am required to have a Masters Degree in IT whereas I have a Bachelor's Degree and so they can't actually shortlist me because of this. But there is hope, they have connections with various American universities that offer PLAs (Prior Learning Assessment). According to him, I could get a Master's Degree if I pass the PLA and it would take only 7-10 days. Normally it would cost $15,000 for the PLA, but based on their connections it would be free for me except for the administrative fees and postage which is $500. The minute he said $500, I doubted it for a scam. Now, he says this a reputable, well known company in the US. This is what I have trouble with. Could it be that don't have a good online presence but otherwise well known?
