Received a text message from 540-739-5741 stating there was an air purifier bought with "my Apple Pay account". Having not ever used or heard of Apple Pay but concerned for my finances, I called the number given in the text message, 1-802-800-2405. They knew my first and last name on the phone too. Upon calling they didn't initially say they were with Apple until I mentioned the text message, they gave a generic first and last name but said they'd need my email and password as well as bank account numbers. After speaking with this "agent" and getting a fake Employee ID#, he gave me a phone number that would call me in 30 minutes. I called the number given, and they answered that phone call as a "Global ..." and then that gentleman was apparently from "Apple Security Department" with several different first/last names. I didn't give them any information and felt uncomfortable when they tried to give me a "dummy" email and password. They have been calling repeatedly from 551-257-6604 stating it's their security department.
