We are a transport company and received an email for a 2 month dedicated route that was round trip of 206 miles paying $1300 per day per load. Then when we contacted for information regarding the load, they only fed bits and pieces of information at a time. We spent all day going back and forth. Most legit brokers we have dealt will not spend all day on negotiating a load. Then the rate con was wrong when sent, not once but 3 times. Then sent a contract stating had to pay $350 up front for dispatching services. We have never had to do that before. Then the cash app option would not work that was originally sent. Then they called & resent a cash app link and when started to try to use it got a scam alert from cash app. Told caller that & they tried to convince me to go ahead & pay it anyway. I did not. I told would call back & then did not. I emailed that we were cancelling the load and they kept trying to call me back on multiple phone numbers: 825-402-7927, 825-402-5770. Then they tried to threaten with turning our MC number over to Freight Guard to scare us into paying the fee. We have kept copies of all correspondence.
