Called and left voicemail for husband and I, "Hello, this message is for (HUSBAND). This is Kelly at Preferred Courier Services. We have certified documents to be delivered out to him. The beginning of next week. Please have him call me so I can give him information on these documents before we dispatch them out to him. The phone number is 844-974-0654. His reference # is (XXXXXXX). Thank you." I called the number that was left and the person that answered said they worked for United Creditor's Alliance and that he owed a debt for nearly $3000 for some furniture that was purchased back in 2018. First of all, that was 8 years ago so it would fall past the statute of limitations to be contacted. Second, we have NEVER purchased $3000 worth of furniture. And third, after extensive research, I have discovered that United Creditors Alliance has been out of business for over a year and were fined by the FTC for harassment and hostile tactics to collect money. I received a voicemail from Brooklyn with Preferred Couriers stating that she was trying to reach my mom(stated my mom's first name). Brooklyn said that there were time sensitive documents that needed to get to my mom today for signature and wanted me to pass the message along to her to call 844-974-0654 and mention reference#1876262.
