I looked up their website, https://www.alphamechanicalservicesinc.com/ I went through the interview process through teams, and recieved 3 pdfs to fill out the next day. It follows a procedure similarly to my previous position. One pdf had a w4, another was basic application questions, the other was my checking account information for direct deposit. Everything seems legitimate, except. I have not seen person face or contacted anyone else from the company. He asked for me work Wednesday the 26th, as soon as I submitted the pdfs, but I turned him down for the originally agreed oct 1st. I had nothing to record my time. The payment for the first 3 days were suddenly 22/hr for only 3 hrs of training. I was asked to answer a question that I could find the answer on wikipedia. He did not want to proceed with additional training. This is where I got suspicious. I looked up the address on the website, and it seems like a residential home, 2823 Palma Circle Corona, CA 92881. I received this job offer and I should have done more research before actually filling out the forms they provided me. After further research and having to go through interview without having to see the person face to face and all training done through the Team Meeting App I started to get curios but it was too late and he got my information. I didn't loose any information or got a suspicious fraud on my records but I did file with the FBI, locked my SS, freeze my credit reports and change my account info. In addition looking into the website https://www.alphamechanicalservicesinc.com and searching for the number he provided 951 298 7827 the number they provided it was all a SCAM. So beware if you do get this type of email.
