The scammer used a fake website to impersonate the drink business Olipop. The website looked normal, the checkout process connected to Shopify also looked as it usually would, but the product never shipped. Upon further inspection, I noticed a random gmail account under the Olipop Shop info in the Shop app and the information in our credit statement was not Olipop. It showed a SP Hannah Store in Grand Prairie TX as the merchant, an incomplete address of 664 East Sandra Grand Prairie, TX 750, the number 972-322-0274, and the email [email protected] . The website was very similar to the real Olipop website, and I did not notice, because I Googled the company name and had never ordered from them before. The fake one was https://drinksoolipop.us/ and the real one is drinkolipop.com.
