[US] These types of TikTok scams should be taken down The first image shows a woman “unboxing” a MacBook neo, with the claim that she got it for $99 at target with a “student discount” The second image then shows a bunch of seemingly realistic profiles of people saying it worked, asking questions (does it work for high school students too? Or just college students? iPad or MacBook? Etc) btw these types of comments go on and on. When you view these commenters profilers a lot of them look like they could actually be real people. Spaced out posts, spaced out reposts, interactions on their page, etc. They are claiming that you can get a huge “discount code” to get a MacBook for 99$ at target. Selling this website cartcleared.com Are these just ad scams to get people to check out the websites and play games? Who is making these mass profiles to advertise these websites and making it look so realistic? Am i just naive? I never fell for it but to me i could see why some people do. And what is this type of scam called?
