Findakitty.com is a scam website. I fell in love with a Bengal kitty. I spoke with the guy on the phone(I do not want to call him a gentleman). He told me that he was from California. He told me that his mother died in an accident so he was in Atlanta taking care of her estate. He said that she was a cat breeder and he was selling her kittens. I paid him with gift cards, and the next day I took a flight from Connecticut to Atlanta Georgia. He was not there when I arrived, so I called him. He told me that the kitty was at the vet and it would take 5 hours to get all necessary paperwork. I waited, and waited and waited. I tried calling him several times and it went straight to voicemail. I tried emailing him. Finally he emailed me the original thread that was created through findakitty.com & he said the kitty had died at the vet. That is the last thing he has said to me. He will not answer my phone calls, will not answer me through emails. I spent 9 1/2 hours in the Atlanta airport and came home with no kitty. I have been scammed. Do not use this website. I lost $550.00. My hopes are that the BBB can track this jerk down and stop him...I would love to get my $ back too but I think that is just a dream, just as getting the cute kitty was a dream.
