I called what I believed to be Miele, based off their website: https://www.mieleservicesupport.co/ to fix an appliance. The company posing to be Miele sent a technician to fix the fridge, charged me by Zelle, and the appliance never began to work. I have been following up for nearly 3 months and they give me the runaround -- saying a part is coming, it's expected next week. Finally, I got in touch with the actual company Miele and they said this other company is a problem they are aware of and trying to put a stop to. I filed a complaint with the Consumer Protection Agency. I have the invoice, an email from Hello Appliance Repair stating they will give me a refund (which has not happened), and the COI from when they sent the technician. I am wary of uploading the documents here as they contain my address, etc. [BBB Scam Type: Home Improvement] [Business: Miele Appliance Repair] [Location: NY, USA- 10024]
