I am submitting this complaint regarding a suspected online puppy scam involving a breeder and a pet shipping service. On April 5, 2026, I purchased a puppy named “Olivia” from a business identifying itself as Olivia Maltipoos (website: https://www.oliviamaltipoos.com ), represented by an individual named Ms. Olivia Jenkins. The agreed purchase price for the puppy was $830.00, which I paid. Ms. Jenkins informed me that she would arrange transportation for the puppy through a service called Fly Pets Nanny using an in-cabin flight nanny. Shortly after payment, I received communication from Fly Pets Nanny stating that pet insurance was required prior to the puppy boarding the flight. Based on their representation that the insurance fee would be fully refundable upon delivery, I sent an additional $970.00 via wire transfer. I was then provided with a flight itinerary indicating that the puppy would depart Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) on April 7, 2026, at 10:31 AM on American Airlines Flight 2140 (operated by PSA Airlines/American Eagle), with a layover in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW). After the supposed arrival in Dallas, I received a message from the “pet nanny” stating that the puppy had been inspected and that additional requirements needed to be met before continuing transport. The message referenced CDC regulations and stated that a “Thermal Electronic Cage” was required. At this point, I became suspicious and attempted to verify the situation: I requested a phone call from the nanny, who claimed there was a “technical issue” preventing calls and would only communicate via text. I asked that someone at the airport contact me directly, which was refused. I independently contacted American Airlines and the airport, both of which confirmed: There is no such requirement as a “Thermal Electronic Cage” Any crate issue would have been addressed prior to departure from Houston, n [BBB Scam Type: Online Purchase] [Business: Olivia Maltipoo Puppies- Imposter
