[US] Vehicle Shipping Scam Help https://www.shipautonow.com I’m in Michigan and currently selling my car to my uncle who lives in California. He arranged for it to be shipped, but the company he chose is starting to seem really suspicious to me. First, the price seems unusually low. The customer service was very rude and argumentative when we ask questions about their services. They originally told us they’d pick up the car between 9 AM and 12 PM on May 4, but they never showed up. After I had already waited a couple of hours, I called to check in, and they said they couldn’t come until after 5 PM instead. When I pointed out that we had already agreed on a morning window, the representative argued with me and then hung up. My uncle called them back, and they suddenly said it would cost an extra $700 to pick it up that same day, even though that was the original plan. They told him he could avoid the extra charge if he waited until May 5, so he agreed. Later that day, I got a call from a completely different company confirming a pickup window of 9 AM to 12 PM on May 5, but they never gave a specific time. They also gave me the phone number of the driver. I tried to call the original company again to confirm details, but their number was no longer in service. At that point, I started digging into it. The phone number on their website is also different from the one they’ve been calling from, and both numbers are now out of service. Another thing that stood out is that they never emailed any confirmation, everything has been done through text messages. I keep trying to tell my uncle that I have a gut feeling that this is a scam, but he swears that it is not. I’ve never shipped a car before, so I’m not sure what’s normal, but this whole situation feels off. Does this sound like a scam, or is this just how s
