Business Name: Youth Labs Website: youthlabsco.com Nature of Complaint: False and Misleading Advertising I am submitting this complaint on behalf of consumers who may be misled by Youth Labs' current advertising for their ZoomNAD product, promoted via Facebook and their website. The advertisement prominently displays a "Buy 6, Get 6 FREE" offer labeled "Just $8.95 / Box," with a total price of $119. However, basic arithmetic reveals a clear discrepancy: 6 boxes at $8.95 per box equals $53.70 — not $119. The remaining 6 boxes are advertised as FREE (listed at $0, crossed out from $480), yet the total charge does not reflect free pricing for those units. There is no fine print, footnote, or visible disclosure in the advertisement explaining additional fees, handling charges, or any other costs that would account for the $65.30 gap between what is advertised and what is charged. Advertising a per-unit price and simultaneously advertising products as free, while charging nearly double the math-supported total, constitutes misleading and potentially deceptive advertising under FTC guidelines. I am bringing this to the BBB's attention so that consumers are protected and Youth Labs is held accountable for clearly communicating their actual pricing. I have screenshot evidence of the advertisement as it appeared on Facebook via youthlabsco.com. Desired Resolution: Youth Labs should be required to correct their advertising to accurately reflect actual consumer costs, with full transparency and no hidden charges.
