The call came from our local area code. The name of the caller was Ronnie Jenkins with NSBI/National Service Bureau. He said he is a third-party company calling to collect for a car accident and that we are to pay him lump sum or in payments. The number he called from is not his number; it was a burner phone; this I found out as I called the number back and it was a non-working number. His direct number he provided as 425-800-4879. I called the number and was answered with "this is Ronnie Jenkins". I asked Mr. Jenkins who he works for and he got hostile and said you don't call me asking me questions. I said, well you called me asking me questions and I would like to know who you are and the Company you represent that is requesting me to send $24,000.00 to? He got very hostile and then called me by my name as he could see it on caller ID. I said if you are asking who I am, you are already new by caller ID. He continued to yell at me! I let him know that he called the wrong person to fall for his scam and that all numbers and business will be reported and he said do you need to talk to my Boss Tim? I said no Sir, I do not need to speak to any further scammers of this fake company. I hung up and he continues to call back and harass me for $24,000.00 DOLLARS or make it in payments on their website! I received at call at 12am on April 6, 2026 from the National Service Bureau. The representative Chris stated that I owed $7,000+ to All State with a 99.1 percent assurance I didn't have insurance on my car and which the accident was my fault. This Chris person was extremely rude and said their a big business and represent multi million dollar companies, and it is my problem not my personal auto insurance company to resolve. He hung up on me when I tried to tell him about the details where my car was rear ended while at a complete stop in a long line of cars both in front of me and behind me. I was the 4th car that was struck. They have all the details. I feel threatened. The number that called me was 206-542-7833. Chris and other representatives are Rude, practice threatening and shady business tactics and say they represent "All State and many other Large Insurance companies" [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: National Service Bureau] [Location: HI, USA - 96762]

National Service Bureau first contacted me by phone in 2024 stating I was in a car accident that caused damages and I owe them money for Allstate Ins. I told them I was not in any accident that year. The person on the other line said the accident involved a 1998 Ford Ranger I own. I told them I had donated that vehicle to a nonprofit organization and removed insurance before the accident occurred. I was told by the operator on the phone it does not matter if I had donated the vehicle, they only go by the VIN and who is listed as owner. I hired a lawyer and provided all the information showing receipt from nonprofit for donation of vehicle, letter from nonprofit stating they had changed the title to vehicle to their name, DMV doc showing I had turned in my plates, and insurance dropped on vehicle all before date of auction. While I was working with lawyer, I continued to get calls from National Service Bureau stating I owe money. I told them I hired a lawyer and they need to contact his office over this. They still called me. My lawyer drafted a letter and sent to National Service Bureau stating all my documents are in order and I do not owe anyone any money. The letter also stated that if they report any of this on my credit, damages will be sought. My lawyer sent me an email stating that his office had spoken on the phone with National Service Bureau and they changed the responsible party to the nonprofit and I will not be bothered by them anymore. I was upset that I donated a vehicle and it cost me lawyer fees to do a good deed, but I was happy it was over. It is now 2026 and I got a call from National Service Bureau again stating I owe the same amount for same vehicle. I have already contacted my lawyer again and meet soon. I say this place is a scam because they do not do their homework. They just prey on people and hope to scare them over the phone to just pay. I did not seek lawyer f [BBB Scam Type: Phishing] [Business: National Service Bureau] [Location: VA,
his company has already been reported by me for "PAY NOW" language threatening behavior, including false statements about arrest and suspension of my driver’s license. Since my initial complaint, their conduct has escalated. They are now contacting third parties, specifically the owner of the vehicle involved in the alleged incident, and discussing or attempting to collect this debt through them. This behavior is extremely concerning and appears to violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which restricts third-party communications and prohibits disclosure of debt information to anyone other than the consumer. Additionally, the company has sent multiple letters under different names and formats, creating confusion and raising concerns about deceptive or fraudulent practices. I formally request:- An investigation into this company’s practices- That they cease all unlawful contact, including contacting third parties- Verification of the legitimacy of this debt and the collector’s authority also request that all future communication be in writing only.I am recovering from serious health issues and am under financial hardship. This ongoing harassment is causing significant stress and harm. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I received a text from 316-263-1051 and talked to someone I couldn't understand so they turned me over to Daniel. They are from the Midwest Service Bureau in Wichita, KS. They talked to me about a service I had 3 years ago at Missouri Baptist Hospital. The information they gave me was partially true but they said I owe them $1,290 and gave them a $100 deposit which is not true. The bottom line says that I owe them $1,190 and did I want to put it on my credit card. I said no. Then I called BBB to report it. My brother was involved in an accident that he wasn’t at fault in. I’m not sure what’s happening but they keep bringing up the date of the incident and asking for him. But they keep calling MY phone. My brother doesn’t have my number listed anywhere with his name tied. And they keep calling from different numbers.
