I called what I thought was amazon but a scammer appeared instead. He asked me to diwnload anydesk from playstore. I could not. He took me thru many steps. I questioned why. He said for safety. Name was Hske Patlar said ext. Was 1005. Ph. No. 201-762-4775. Then said he needed to verify my credit card. I declined. He saud the only other way to gandke my purchase abd it was on file. Reluctantly i gave him all the cr. Card infi. Then needed to cobfurn my mailing address n phone no. Nrxt needrd to confirm myvemaul. I gave him all my Info. BUT HE THEN ASKED FOR MY PASSWORD. I THEN KNEW A SCAM BUT HE HAD ENOUGH INFO FOR IDENTIY THEFT. HUNG up, canceled ny credit. Happened card. Hapoened Niv 13. Today is Nov. 14 and im calling the Sheriff. Could nit do yesterday as i had an appt n got home after bus. Hrs. Warn people. I do not undersrabd HOW DUD HE ANSWER AN AMAZIN PHONE NO. I CALLED IN PAST????
